A community hospital connected its patient system to Odoo accounting, so revenue is reported by department, doctors' shares are calculated on every bill and management sees the real margin of each service.

Novocare runs a hospital information system for patients, while its accounts were kept separately. Revenue from operation theatres was going missing, ancillary services were counted as outpatient income, and the two systems closed their days at different times, so the numbers rarely agreed.
Doctors are paid a share of outpatient and inpatient revenue, and calculating it by hand each month was slow and disputed.

Automatic medical record numbers, patient advances held as liabilities, and an inpatient final-settlement process.
Discounts and shares
Discounts recorded as an expense, with the doctor's share of a discount applied automatically where agreed.
Reports management can use
Revenue by department and doctor, product margins and cost of sales, pass-through payables, tax dues and a management dashboard.
Payroll
A lightweight payroll with income tax and withholding tax.
